Love, love, LOVE this eclectic coffee shop and everything going on here! The BEST coffee, tea, cocoa, iced teas, delicious rotation of desserts, very cool artwork and weekly music is back as of 2025 too! There's a reason this community staple has been going strong for over 11,000 days!
Their espresso is phenomenal. So smooth and well balanced. I will come back just for the espresso alone. In addition to that, the barista was a great communicator, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. There is a chill and welcoming atmosphere in the coffee shop.

WOW!! Absolutely blown away by this coffee shop! The barista was amazing and so friendly! The coffees were absolutely delicious, with coffee ice cubes as to not water it down. The raspberry oat bar was the best I’ve ever had, perfect crumb to filling ratio. As for the macaroon and biscotti they were fresh and gobbled up! Some outdoor/indoor seating available. Will be coming here from now on!
CASH ONLY! Charming little coffee spot just off Main St. My daughter and I stopped her on the way to a Wesleyan tour. Great local vibe, great coffee drinks, a natural style chai (not mixed powders or solutions). Definitely a cute stop!
My husband loves coffee and I prefer tea. This spot hit the spot for both of us. The barista was friendly and took her time showing me their extensive selection of Republic of Tea products. My hubby loved his hot white chocolate with a shot of espresso. Prices are reasonable. Will return.
Great small, local independent coffee shop! They offer a great variety of coffee drinks, as well as vegan bakery items (had a vegan blueberry oatmeal bar today that was just AMAZING! And not with just a few blueberries, but a nice gooey layer! YUM!) But what has always sold me about this little coffee shop is the local flavor, the artwork from local artists that is prominently displayed and sold, as well as the message board where flyers for local events are posted. There is even a bookcase by the front door where you can grab a book to read! I wish I lived closer so that I could go there more often, but whenever I'm in the Middletown area I always make a point of going! As I recommend anyone reading this should as well!
What a great find !! The coffee was superb. I enjoyed the artistic and creative sights/sounds in the shop. I mean...any place that has Motorhead playing when I walk in, gets mt vote.
